Daily rates include
Full board and accommodation, exclusive use of the Gamsberg hunting area and lodge, the services of a Professional Hunter and complete safari staff (including trackers, skinners and cook), the use of a 4-wheel-drive hunting vehicle with each PH, soft drinks, beers and house wines, first aid kits in camp and vehicles, daily laundry, trophy salting and transportation to a local taxidermist in Windhoek for hunters.
A US$100 per person per day Habitat for Rhino conservation fee, hunting permits, airport transfers between Windhoek and Gamsberg, and 15% VAT are also included.
Daily rates exclude
Game fees (trophy fees), trophy taxidermy including dipping, packing and preparation, trophy export and freight fees, hire of firearms and ammunition, gratuities to staff and PH, items of a personal nature such as international flights and visas, and any side trips.
Deposits & payment
Safaris are confirmed upon payment of a 50% deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. The purpose of the deposit is to confirm arrangements, mitigate the potential loss of a booking in the event of postponement or cancellation, and ensure commitment by both parties.
The balance of safari fees, including a game fee deposit, is due no later than 90 days before the commencement of the safari.
Bookings are conditional upon the signing of a liability release form before arrival. This will be sent to you well in advance.
Cancellations & postponements
Any request for postponement must be made in writing. The company reserves the right to accept or refuse such requests.
In the event of an agreed postponement, the deposit may be subject to an administration/postponement fee, depending on the time between the postponement and the originally planned safari start date. The balance of the deposit will be carried forward to the new dates.
In the event of a complete cancellation, the company reserves the right to retain the deposit paid.
No refunds will be given for early departure, non-appearance for scheduled activities, lost travel time, itineraries amended after arrival, or circumstances beyond the company's control that require alternative arrangements to be made.
