  Robin Hurt began his professional hunting career in Kenya in the 1960s. What began in East Africa grew into a lifetime spent guiding safaris across the continent.

More than six decades later, that tradition continues in Namibia. Robin Hurt Safaris remains a family-run company, shaped by the same respect for wild places, wildlife and the traditions of African safari.

We host only one safari party at a time.

During your stay, Gamsberg Lodge and the hunting area are exclusively yours — whether you travel alone, with friends, or bring your family along for the adventure.

Meals are shared around our table, evenings are spent on the verandah overlooking the Gamsberg, and before long it tends to feel considerably less like a lodge and rather more like home.
