The Namibian Government licenses us and our guests, subject to sufficient and monitored game populations, to selectively use some of the natural increase of the wildlife resource on our land. When on Safari with Robin Hurt Safari Company, you can be sure that emphasis on Conservation comes first.

The "Stalking" of game animals is only undertaken with fair chase principals - following an acclaimed tradition practiced by us for over fifty years , throughout the game fields of Africa. "Game Stalking" pays for the conservation of numerous wildlife species at Gamsberg and Mount Barry.
The chance of the chase is what "Game Stalking" is all about . An obligation of respect for the wildlife of this country. The Game Laws of Namibia are strictly adhered to.

Depending on game species required, your hunt will take place on our licensed private hunting property, Gamsberg and Mount Barry Wilderness, comprising close to 20’000 hectares of open unfenced country, and on other suitable areas within the Gamsberg Conservancy (130’000 hectares of open land).

We offer different hunt timetables, as per our price list. Common species available include Oryx, Kudu, Hartman’s Mountain Zebra, Springbok, Red Hartebeest, Warthog, Duiker, Blesbok, Klipspringer, Burchells Zebra, Black and Blue Wildebeest and Steinbok. For bird shooters, the sand grouse shooting in Namibia is superb. Special arrangements which we can organise need to be made for Sable, Roan, Waterbuck, Eland and Impala.

We offer rifle hunting and also bow hunting, and have shotguns available for bird shooting. All can be either hired or you can bring your own.

Gamsberg, your base for your safari in Namibia, is situated 1.5 hours (126 kilometres) South West of Windhoek in the beautiful Khomas Hochland region. From the International Airport (Hosea Kutako), the drive will take approximately 2.5 hours. The Gamsberg Lodge is beautifully situated on the crest of a hill with superb views of Gamsberg Mountain and the surrounding savannah. Various wildlife species can be seen from the house verandah. The house has spacious guest rooms, some of which have double beds and others are twin bedded. All rooms are ensuite, with private showers. There is also a cottage to the side of the main house with a double bed and private shower. The house is open plan style and very comfortable. There is Wifi and satellite TV available.
